This month is Mother's Day and this can bring a mix of emotions.
for many women. Some are expecting the birth of their first child, others who have arrived
to be mothers by way of adoption, there are also those who are called stepmothers who
They often wonder what their role is in the lives of their new children. Others who have
lost their mother and are facing grief on Mother's Day. There are mothers who in
This day they are experiencing feelings of pain because their children have turned away from God and
others overwhelmed by grief over the loss of a child.
Whatever the circumstance, on this day we take the opportunity to honor
and appreciate the extraordinary role of mothers in our lives.
We admire those mothers who continually stand in the gap for their families,
nurturing their children's talents and modeling love and character in their lives.
God always rewards faith and obedience. In Exodus chapter 2:1-10 we find the
story of the birth of a great leader named Moses and the hostility into which he was born.
God honored the faith of his mother Jochebed by saving her son from a death sentence.

She placed her trust in Him, so He will also provide for us if we trust in Him.
As we celebrate Mother's Day we pray that you, like Jochebed, have
put your trust in the Lord. And if you have not yet given your life to Christ, we invite you
to repeat this prayer and allow the Lord to enter your heart by placing your trust
in Him. The Bible says that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Romans 10:13
Prayer: “Lord Jesus, I want to experience your mercy today. I believe that you died in the
cross to pay the price for my sins. I admit that I am a sinner who needs a
Savior and I invite you to enter my life. Forgive my sin. Live in me as my Leader.
