To obey is better than sacrifice\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><em>&nbsp;1 Samuel 15:22&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The Bible teaches that God made man perfect, but mankind made the decision to do his own will rather than God&#039;s will.&nbsp; <strong>The Bible calls this disobedience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Sovereign authority is not an easy concept to grasp. From an early age, children find creative ways to not obey their parents&#039; instructions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We adults tend to do the same thing, for example, when we exceed the speed limit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">But sovereign means sovereign and obedience means obedience even when we disagree or don&#039;t understand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Why is God pleased with obedience? Because obedience is a reflection of God&#039;s love in us and at the same time confirms his lordship over our lives.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Possibly God has great plans for his life as he had for Saul, but the disobedience reached such a degree that he said, &quot;God regrets having made Saul king.&quot;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><em>For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
